So is there any way of getting moisturiser out of a glass bottle?

I have a bottle of midnight secret. It was bloody expensive (thanks MN) but I do like it. I am now down to about the last sixth of the bottle and the pump won't get the rest out. But it has a sealed metal lid on a glass container. I'm stumped. Do I just sacrifice the last six or seven applications or do I smash the bottle or is there some special trick I don't know about?

There's no easy way but if you have a workbench clamp it into that and try to prize off the metal bit, if it all fails and you end up smashing the bottle well you,ve not lost out as you could,t use it anyway. Never tried it with this one but have done that once with something else. It didn,t go well.

Heat it up slightly by putting in a bowl of hot water. Not the microwave obviously . Just enough to make it a bit runnier and pour out.

Do not smash the bottle, you might get small shards of glass in the lotion and cut yourself
