How do I tie a scarf properly?

I have a selection of scarves. Bought a nice new large printed scarf today - to take on holiday- hoping it will come in useful as a blanket on the plane ?

Anyway -I have been pratting about for hours this afternoon in front of the mirror, trying various methods which looked ok.

Any tips welcomed please - as I have no bloody clue!

Watching with interest as I too am clueless, so no help I'm afraid!

Ahhhh now that's something I can answer - there's a brilliant video on YouTube that shows you something like 64 ways of tying your scarf in 3 minutes (actual numbers may be different!). I've watched it loads and am fascinated by the number of stylish ways to wear a scarf yet still fling mine round a couple of times and look a bit haphazard. A quick search on YouTube will get you there or someone will be along with the actual details. I'm not clever enough to link, sorry! Enjoy!

I would like to add a related question , I have seen the scarf Youtube thing, but what do you all wear your scarves with ?

I have a couple, but whenever I try them on I just look a knob.

moaning I tend to want to wear mine iwht plain tshirts- not necessarily white, but toning colours. Or vest tops - a bit of warmth and not so naked feeling, but still summery.

Also with a plain dress.
