Have any of you lovely ladies been and is it worth it?

I've been and have to say, I just felt like I was on a conveyor belt, being churned through a sausage machine of treatments. But then I think my expectations with beauty treatments are hard to meet to be honest!

honeytoast · 11/09/2012 20:07

Oh that is a shame as I was thinking of going as a treat to my self. I like my beauty treatments and I was hoping it would be good there.

i've been to ragdale, and yes, i'd say it is well worth the money. i did a day with a group of friends and also went back with my mum, morning was spent in the thermal spa, you just meander around between each of the rooms, plus the pool and an outdoor heated pool area. then lunch, then 2 treatments, then back in the thermal spa. treatments wise, i had a facial and a back massage, both very relaxing.

what area are you traveling from?, there is another place off the a1 near newark which i would equally recommend called eden hall, plus it's a bit cheaper!

My experience was not like Charlifox's at all. I went after a particularly stressful time at work and left Ragdale after three days of bliss feeling like a zombie I was so relaxed.

So my answer is yes I have been and yes it is worth the money.

honeytoast · 11/09/2012 20:20

Doncaster. Yes I have been to Eden hall I was just looking for a break as my holiday to greece got cancelled 3 days before I was supposed to go. So I am looking for somewhere to just go and chill :-)

loved it. food was very tasty, relaxing atmosphere, great treatments

slightlycrumpled · 11/09/2012 20:21

I loved it there. DH booked it for me as a surprise after our son had been seriously ill for a long time.
It was totally relaxing and I did feel away from it all. They often have special offers on. Go for it! Smile

honeytoast · 11/09/2012 20:25

I will have a look now and see if I can get booked in next week :-) all excited now.

the candle pool is ace, although not a good place to get the giggles while everyone else is relaxing!
