I can't believe I have only just discover how brilliant foundation brushes are, what other things do I need?

For years my dry skin has made foundation impossible, it always flakes, however expensive or moisturising its meant to be.

But I had that foundation match thing done in boots and the assistant recommended a foundation brush - it is brilliant, only takes a minute and no flakes! I was just using my fingers before but had given up on wearing make up as it made me miserable how crap it always looked.

I also got a blusher and mascara and practically bounced down the road yesterday. Even spurred me on to dye my hair to cover the grey bits up, I hadn't bothered before as I didn't see the point.

I've had so many compliments meaning I don't look deathly pale and ill and it's cheered me up when I've felt extra crappy and spotty due to pregnancy so what other magical things do I need?

My make up bag consists of: foundation and brush, blusher and brush and mascara. That's it.

Eyeshadow? Even just a slightly-darker-than-skin-tone shade to go in the crease? Just emphasises the shape of your eyes a bit.

What's your skin tone? Mine's olive and I love MAC Quarry eyeshadow. Also MAC 217 brush is a must for blending!

I was calico at boots which is the lightest shade of foundation they do and have green/brown eyes and brown hair.

I will look into eyeshadow, everyone says I have quite small eyes though and I've always been conscious of drawing attention to them, they look like normal eyes to me though Hmm

I have no idea what blending is but any excuse for another brush to add to my tiny collection.

Thank you :-)
