Any funky winter coats out there?

I've had the same duffel style coat for 9 years and would like a new one; something more flattering so fitted rather than puffy. All I can find is boring blacks and greys or frumpy styled reds. Tried a boiled wool one from Boden - horrid. Does anyone know of something a little funkier?

IMO you can't go wrong with any of the Zara coats this season. They are always cut really well too, on a par with more expensive brands. There are quite a few I like but unfortunately already have several coats. Are you looking for a wool or down filled casual style? What length are you after?

Preferably wool and at least knee length - I tried on a red one in Zara but didn't like it, can't really put my finger on why, it was a good colour but frumpy cut.

I like Ness but don't think their winter range is in yet. Their wool coats are really toasty and the colours are not boring. Don't know whether I'd describe the cut as funky though.

I have 5 Blush Nanette Lepore coats, they are expensive but you can sometimes pick them up on Ebay, they are such a good fit and immediately make an outfit look smart but are still comfortable. I hate coats that restrict arm movement and these don't. Think their only UK shop is in London though.

This nanette lepore is the only style on ebay at the moment and I'm not actually as keen on it as others I've seen, I prefer buttons to zips.

Have you tried hobbs?

I'm wrong. The new range is now online.

Thank you for all the suggestions - I've never heard of Nanette Lepore so will have a look online.
