Best Strapless Bra?

JodieHarsh · 11/09/2012 10:27

I need a strapless bra and I haven't got time to go and try them on! Madness, I know!

I'm 32FF or 34FF depending.

Any recommends? I need somewhere mail ordery that'll deliver tomorrow...

Tesco's multiway bra is utterly fab. And only about a fiver. In fact their new bras in general are v good.

I have to say the W onderbra one is the best ever. Holds it all up. Not the best looking foundation garment, but it does the job.

shrimponastick · 11/09/2012 10:32

this one

JodieHarsh · 11/09/2012 10:33

Oo lovely, thanks chaps - I shall follow the research!

A fiver one sounds very appealing (am v. poor!). But then with my knockers maybe investing in a WBra would be sensible....

The Tesco one gives a v streamlined t-shirt bra type shape which is why I like it, and it has impressive build for a cheapo one. If you're near a Tesco it's def worth a go. if it's for a low cut dress Wbra might suit better.

What's it for?

HazleNutt · 11/09/2012 10:43

yes wonderbra ultimate is the best. The back comes up small though so if you are 32/34, i would recommend going for the 34.

JodieHarsh · 11/09/2012 10:44

Thanks Hoop!

I'm being bridesmaid on Sat and have made an amazing 50s frock, but it has a very wide neckline that is almost (but not quite) off-the-shoulder, so a normal bra will show straps and be a bit grim. Thought about safety-pinning the dress to the bra straps but I'd spend all day hoiking!

It's probably worth investing in the WBra, I'm afraid. Either that or an old school longline job. You'll be faffing and uncomfortable all day otherwise.

Another vote for the wonderbra, try a few sizes as I found it small in back but big in cup.

Thairishmum · 11/09/2012 15:40

Definitely Wonderbra, it transforms my rather sad post breastfeeding bosom into something a little but special, 100% worth the money

HoopDePoop · 11/09/2012 22:30

Ah ok, yes Wonderbra for you. My sad little 30Cs need shaping but not support Sad

On the plus side, having read the Panache thread, I am aware that it is one aspect of S and B on which I can happily be thrifty Smile I shall wear F and F bras and Celine bags.
