gap legging cords

i was just wondering if anyone had seen these in real life? are they more like leggings or more like cords?? i want them to be like cords with some (flattering) stretch, rather than thin and skintight - any insight would be great as i would like to order them tonight with the 30% off!

They are vile. Totally vile - the most unflattering things ever.

I bought some instead in h&m for £14.99 with a zip at the ankles which were a million times better.
