Are these MumBoots?

I'm new, please be gentle.
Looking for new winter boots; country dwellers, very unglam lifestyle, but pretend to myself that I'm still a bit hip & could easily blend in with the trendy 20somethings in the city.
Have I got it horribly wrong?

I think they are quite nice. I'm not sure what qualifies as 'mum boots' though.

I'm thinking of the boots that identify you as as a harassed shopper who buys something comfy in a rush..Sadly that is me, but I don't want to look like that.
