It's going to be hot. No children. 20kgs (is that much?) I've done the nails etc, it's the clothes situation!

Keep it simple.

Last minute packing is the best anyway, if it isn'tin there you won't be wearing it.

I like dresses - easier to wear than shorts - cool and look a bit 'posher' too :)
swimwear, underwear, 1pr sandals, 1pr flip flops, 1 pr shoes you can walk in,

where are you going??

Turkey. I've bought nothing for it. I haven't done a beach holiday for years, that's why I'm asking for anyone that thinks I'm abit thick! It's the shoe thing that's got me stumped.

i've not been to turkey but pavements tend to be non existent or very un-even, so i wouldn't even bother with heels or wedges, i also find i tend to walk alot more on holiday, so you need comfy foot wear. I would take flip flops, and a smarter pair of sandals for the evening either tan or sparkly and wear converse on the plane. As ugly as fit flops are they are very comfy, i never took them on my last holiday and regret it. I would only take clothes you are happy to wear at home, in the past i've bought lots of dresses for holiday and felt awkward as i never usually wear dresses. A pair of linen trouser or rolled up chinos would be good incase you get bitten and want to cover your legs. 2 bikinis, denim shorts, linen shorts and plenty of vests/tops.

2 beach dresses/cover ups
2 bikinis
1 pair flip flops
1 pair flat sandals
Simple cotton dress for daytime sightseeing (complete with cotton scarf to cover head/shoulders if so required)
Keep evening clothing simple - dresses rather than trousers and tops which will keep you much cooler.
Minimal make-up: Bronzer, mascara, sheer liptint
A pendant and bracelet
Toiletries including sunscreen
Sunglasses

Pack one of the bikinis and cover ups in your hand luggage - that way you know you can hit the beach in comfort should your luggage go astray. Finding daywear in a resort not too bad but trying to find a good fitting bikini is a mare.
