Curling tongs/wands

I'm after some curling tongs/wand as my hairdresser advised that they would be the best to get curls in my hair. Having done my Internet research there are so many makes and models I'm not sure what to get.

Any recommendations please?

C'mon, someone must use a curling wand.....

I have the Babyliss curling wand. Does a great job - multiple heat settings (so works for all hair types).

However, I have found that the most simple and less damaging way to get my hair to curl is to leave it to dry naturally and then, when almost dry, apply a little Kerastase hair oil & twist into a tight bun on the crown of my head. An hour later I am left with the most gorgeous curls. This even worked on the beach/by the pool on holiday which meant I could keep my hair up and out of the way all day and then not have to faff with hot appliances before going out in the evening :)

Thanks ujjayi. I had found something similar about the sock bun on you tube. Might gives a go. Glad you recommend the babyliss one as like products normally.
