What sizes are you? Any idea on the dress code? What colours suit you?

MrsLettuce · 08/09/2012 20:59

Oh, and how tall are you? Colouring?

buggyRunner · 08/09/2012 21:32

5ft 6, brown hair grey eyes, pale

think it is bow tie (my Dh is one of the key speakers)

Do I take that to mean it's black tie?

this is stunning IMHO, love it in the soft pink too a but the black, navy and purple are fab as well. Something like these or these would be good with pretty much any of the colours. Vintage inspired up do. Red lips.

Anything like?

Do you have control pants, and how much do you need to reserve for hair and manicure/pedicure?

MrsLettuce · 09/09/2012 01:01

Oh, adore this too - here.

Edgier and much less formal. Too informal?

great on a boyish figure

plain satin again, do love the vintage glam feel of this sort of dress. this is a beauty. But this will be the last of them. Sorry!

blingy similar but less blingy

buggyRunner · 09/09/2012 07:12

I pretty flat stomached etc so dont need control pants- I have bitten nails and would get more funding (DP is v generous) for beauty.

What should i get done? I'm thinking eyebrows and bikini wax?

What hand bag? I'm usless at accessorising- I only have my (amazing) engagement ring. So please advise on that too

Accessories depends on which dress you choose. Did you like any of the ones I linked to?

Beauty wise, eyebrow threading, hair do, nails (please don't get talons!) and possibly some new make up should do it. If you don't normally have a bikini wax this might not be the best time to try, but I'm assuming your fanjo will stay covered.

MrsLettuce · 09/09/2012 09:02

Unless you are extremely slim and extremely toned, control pants will still improve the look of a lot of the dresses I linked to.

buggyRunner · 09/09/2012 10:20

Grin I'll be keeping it covered for this do! I'll look into control pants- can you eat in them though?

Oh yes, of course you can! If you're slim and flat tummied there's no need for high power ones, light control would probaly give the desired effect.
