Any hair experts about?

I asked yesterday about getting my hair to look a bit more natural looking after a dark dye job and got some good advice about using head and shoulders. This has only worked a bit and I'm still not happy.

My hair is now dark brown/black and looking very "blocky". If I got a home highlighter kit do you think that would work? I don't want blonde highlights obvs but just a bit of a lighter brown to loosen it up. Am I even making sense?

Tia if anyone can help!

I have never tried them, but there are those kits that take out your hair colour. Personally I would go to a hairdresser.

Go back to the salon and ask them to fix it.

I'm not a hair expert but i've had a few hair disasters in my time so can offer a few options!

If i was you, i wouldn't attempt highlights myself - it would make the situation worse!

Washing with head & shoulders isn't going to make any noticeable difference.

You could try this. www.colourb4.com/products/b4-u-colour its basically a strong clarifying shampoo, should lighten your hair up a bit. You can get it from Boots.

There is a product called COLOUR B4 - it is a colour stripper and will remove permanent/semi permanent colour. I would advise you try the B4 U Colour shampoo first, as you wanted to colour your hair in the first place, iukwim?!!!

Failing those, if you aren't happy, go back to the salon and explain why. Good luck!
