Have taken eye off the ball and don't know where to shop!

Haven't bought clothes bar one or two things since before I was pregnant with DD. She is now 2. Blush

I've changed shape (tops definitely have to finish at bottom of fly, not top), and have put on about a stone, so very few of my previous clothes look right, and I'm living in about three outfits.

I'm size 16, and 5'4". Early 40s but not quite ready for BHS. I like edgy clothes, graphic prints. Would like a choppy hair cut and skinny jeans when I'm thin.

So, where should I shop? I feel too old for Topshop, Gap doesn't have anything I like at the moment (although I like their jeans and their non tshirt stuff usually), and places like Jigsaw and Ghost are a bit out of my price range plus I never feel elegant enough and Carla Bruni-like.

Inspiration please!

I also like Whistles, but find their sizing doesn't go large enough for me, and also ££££.

Don't give up on Topshop, as they do have the odd piece, that suits. I would try a department store like John Lewis and Debenhams and try loads off stuffing from the different retailers.
