Are these genuine Mulberrys?

I've just found a website shopmulberrys.com. The bags look real and the site is suggesting they are real in the text..... however I smell a rat! Does anyone have any experience of them? I thought you could only get reduced Mulberrys at their outlet shops not online? Or from the main website at sale time?

They're fakes. I haven't done it as I'm on my phone but normally reading the English used is a giveaway.

Only place for discounts is the outlets or mulberry themselves during the sales. If you're after anything in particular there is a thread on thepurseforum.com staring the current stock at most of the outlets but they're still not cheap!

I have just looked at the site and for those prices they must be fakes! Also the only way to contact them is by email.

dexter73 · 08/09/2012 07:45

Mind you, you would have thought they could have taken the plastic wrapping off the handles before photographing them!

jumpingjackhash · 08/09/2012 07:46

Mulberry only sell from their own website (or Selfridges.com etc.), so they're fakes. Indeed you can only get cheap Mulberrys from their site in a sale or their outlet shops (which are really good!). Don't buy from these con merchants!

I think the way this is written gives it away...

About Mulberry Outlet Online Store

Shopmulberrys.com is an online Mulberry outlet shop specializing in various Mulberry bags, wallets & purses at lowest prices. All the products on our website are directly from the factory, the material and making process are the same with Mulberry bags in the boutique. They are all brand new ones. We take the products directly from the manufacturer, so we need not to pay the shipping fees, shop fees, and brand fees, and that's why they are cheaper than the bags in boutique. What we always aim to do is to pursue 100% good rate of customer satisfaction, so you will enjoy the kindest and the most efficient customer service in our store.

Not quite correct English and an odd way of phrasing.

ComradeJing · 08/09/2012 08:23

Somewhere on the Mulberry website they specifically state that they only sell online via their own websites or selfridges etc (as Jumpingjack said) and that they only do discounted items via their physical outlet stores or VAT free bags at duty free (eg Heathrow t5 Mulberry store).

OP the outlets send out perfect stock (ie not substandard bags where you have to see the bag). Phone them up and see if they have what you want!

AmethystMoon · 08/09/2012 19:51

Thanks itsgotta I didn't know you could do that Smile
