Autumn problem number 1: Hair + wind

Autumn weather means me constantly getting my hair in my face. Not fab at all.
How do you fab ladies handle this? Do you mangage to make your hair stay in place with special hair products, or do you rely on hats or hairclips etc?

This is hardly a problem.
Hair band/ pony tail /put up with it /hair spray ?

It's a giant style problem
Maybe i need to try all those things at once

Hate wind, it's my Nemesis! Aarrgh! I hate styling my hair as it is and do so grudgingly - so its even worse when the minute you step out the door it's like you've never even bothered!

My hair is shoulderlength , all one length bob style. So usually a ponytail or grip.
When I'm being Yummy Mummy (as my DD calls it when I have loose hair and make-up) it's a pain in the bum.

Anyone else always think it only happens to them?
When my hair gets abused by the wind it seems like everyone elses stays put.
Mine never lies flat again later, it literally poofs up and looks horrendous.
I also straighten my hair, so if there's a bit of drizzle with the wind it's an instant curly perm.

So it's hoods, hats or tight topknots.
