I own loads but actually only use 3 regularly;

This summer I was lucky enough to be given a Mulberry Sommerset in tan.......have worn it every day since May,goes with everything.(about £400 but excellent cost per wear).
In winter I have a big slouchy black bag, but will probably use my tan still.
These two do me most days.
For evening I have a mock crock black patent clutch which goes with most.

But I have lots of others (cheap...TKMaxx is too tempting) that I use rarely if I'm honest.
Love handbags they make me happy and I think if you invest in a decent bag it will make an outfit look expensive and chic.

I own erm many.

I use 4 or 5 most of the time on rotation.

I need more, I need them all!

I didn't answer the money thing - not much really, about £50 or £60. I tend to buy bags when they are heavily discounted so some were around the £200 mark originally

Use about 10, I try and rotate them!
I can't imagine a time I will ever have enough handbags (or shoes!)
I have spent well over £1000 on a single bag and don't regret it one bit!

I have three.
Well truth be known two and a half.
One is a very petite security bag to wear when I go Up Larndan on the Tube. It's got a cut-proof strap and security mesh stuff in the material.It would hold a small purse, a phone and some cash.Can also fasten onto a belt.

And 2 Kipling bags. One black. One brown.

I did consider buying a new brown one but the size was the same as my present one so no point.
I've had them 2 years and the most expensive was £45 ish.

Your security bag sounds extreme!a "cut proof" strap....never heard of that!!!!if I had one of those I'd have to carry another bag for non valuable crap that I carry around all day....and to complete my outfit too!

Own about twenty good ones, probably more. A few cheapish ones for holidays. And one very cheap one for dog poo!
Use them all, but have favourites I go to all the time. One comes out at Xmas as it's a clutch.
Need them all, of course! At least half of them are investment pieces.
And ££££s.

Just had a major cull so I own about 50 now. £2k is most I have spent on a bag or been given as a present. I prob use about 5 of them at least once a month. I need them all

I own many bags. Some of them are used infrequently (as too delicate). I have spent obscene amounts. I fucking love them all though so its ok.

I only really use one. It's an Oushka bag which I love hadn't heard of them before I became an MNer. The other one is a much smaller evening bag.

My two seem to do fine for me.

The Oushka bag was the most I've ever paid. £75, reduced from £150. That's a lot for me. I'd rather have one good quality bag than lots of cheap ones.

12 are cheap bags (under £50) ...and then I discovered REAL bags (on mumsnet!!) ...now I am the proud owner of 3 super lovely bags (£200 ish each)

@ crazyaccountant. I have a slight girl crush on you from reading about your bag collection on a previous post (am rubbish at remembering posters! But this was very important ).

I have about 15 I think. Use 4 regularly. Need 2, one for work (papers laptop etc) and one for home (spare clothes for potty training DS, drinks, suncream or gloves and hats)

Most expensive was £400. Which lives unused for years as too heavy to carry.
It's a luella Gisele, so rather outdated. But v lovely!

I own at least 30 I only really use 3 of them regularly (two Russell and Bromley and my mulberry Alexa) the most spent was £925.00 (the mulberry)

I have 2 large bags for work, one black Marc Jacobs one brown mulberry bayswater.
Then I have a few medium-sized bags for day to day, maybe 4 or 5
I also have 8 clutch bags for evening. So around 15 total
Mulberry & Jacobs were most expensive but I use them 3 or 4 times a week each so it's good CPW

I have, erm, quite a few including Mulberry, Balenciaga and Anya Hindmarch.

Most expensive are a Blondie Mania and a Fossil one, which were around £180.

The rest were around £50 - £60.

I do have a couple of cheapy ones, for days out to the beach or if I'm going somewhere where it will be dumped on the floor!

Mine range from charity shops, Top Shop and Balenciaga. I change them regularly and if they haven't been out for a while I will bring them out to make me feel like I have a new bag.
