Wellies for fat legs!

Need a decent pair of wellies for walking the dog. Daily use so must be comfy and preferably not an outrageous colour! Have got fat calves so need to be wide at the top as want to wear skinny jeans underneath. Too much to ask? Tried on loads today but nothing fitted the bill. :( Help?!

I've had success with just hacking the tops off too-tight wellies

A pair of stout scissors, lop off the top 4 inches and bob's your uncle. They don't fray or look dreadful or anything.

Mummybookworm Pretty sure you are in the right, practical, comfy, cheap etc etc but still can't bring myself to purchase!

Kormachameleon I had muck boots years ago, used for riding too? They were short though, the longer ones look interesting...

Yes, Muck Boots are what you need. Plus they have gel soles so are really comfortable.
