Pamper day tipping etiquette

Hi all, I need the collective s&b wisdom urgently!
I am having a half day pampering treat and a couple of extra treatments (waxing) this afternoon, the total cost will be approaching £150. I am usually one for tipping10%+ for good service, but I am a bit loathe to add an extra £15 on to the cost (money is tight, I am paying partly from birthday money and partly from saving up specially). Would it be acceptable to tip a flat £10, or do I need to stick to my 10% rule to ensure I don't have an evil waxing experience next time? I am torn between keeping it an enjoyable experience without the guilt of spending too much, and insulting the therapist by not tipping enough to acknowledge what I know to be good service.
Anybody able to offer some help?
Thanks.
