What do you wear in hot weather and still look good?

I'm pregnant with DC2 and moving to Australia. My summer wardrobe is rubbish as i'm much more of a winter dresser.

What sorts of things do you wear as a mum of toddlers (ie clothing that you can play on the floor in without showing your pants) that can cope with the hot weather?

Leggings and tunics look a bit shit on me though I realise that this is the ideal solution.

Sorry if this makes no sense. I'm so tired/jetlagged that my brain is leaking out my ears.

I have a toodler and wear leggings and long baggy tops so that when I sit I can put the top between my legs so I'm covered.

Dresses and leggings look nice.

I'm more of a jeans person or if really warm a pair of shorts

I wear dresses a lot in summer. Then you are totally dressed without having to think about it too much.

Or skirts and best tops in bright colours and usually a necklace.
