As I'm getting older my eyelashes seem to be disappearing. Maybe it's the way I take my make up off, the mascara I use, I just don't know.

I'd love longer and thicker lashes but don't know how to get them.

I've read about serums, some reports are good yet others say they are not good for the lashes with prolonged use.

Can anyone recommend something to try?
Are there more 'natural' things to use?

I lost my main eyelashes through chemo and I was left with a single layer of tiny short ones. I tried so many different types of mascara but the best one by far was Clinique High Impact. It actually made me look like I had normal eyelashes.

They've all grown back in now, so instead of just 'normal' eyelashes, using High Impact gives me amazing ones! I've found the key though is in how you apply mascara - 'zigzag' the brush into the roots of the eyelashes and then very slowly bring the brush up, then hold it at the end of the lashes to set them into position. I know that sounds odd, but it really works. I used to just swipe mascara on in seconds but now I take at least a few minutes to really do it properly.

There's a sample size of High Impact in one of the October magazines at the moment. I can't remember which one though, they are doing four Clinique samples to choose from and one is the mascara.
