Which coat?

I'm about to turn 30 and my Grandad wants to buy me something special. I'm nearly 7 months pregnant and while I have a cosy pram ready to go, I haven't anything for me to wear.

I see stylish mums in parkas a lot (I'm guessing that's the hood?) so am thinking a fabulous coat would be a good investment piece. I live in walking distance of the GPs, baby groups etc so it'll get well used with my winter baby.

Budget is £150.

Standard parka: White Stuff at £95

Not hooded but quite cute: Fat Face at £68

I'm struggling to find much else. Where is everyone buying coats?

Last year we were all about Merrell coats.

I am not sure about this years batch, but I bought the Haven and the Wakefield last year and I am very happy with both, warm and waterproof.

I got mine for £76 last year, they get heavily reduced in the spring, there seems to be a tweak to the design every year, The Haven I got was £70. If you can wait it out, you could probably get one.

The Merrell coats look fabulous! I was completely heading down the wrong track looking at fashion rather than outdoors shops.

I'm quite short so not convinced I could pull off the Wakefield but the Haven id lovely!
