Sizing of Mini Boden

i want to buy my DS the quilted jacket from the current Mini Boden season (sorry, posting from the iPad so can't link) and am in a quandary over what size to buy. Does anyone have any advice?
He's 11 months old, a big baby (95th % for both weight and height) and we'll be out of the country until January, so he won't be wearing the coat until he's 15 months. So should I buy 12-18 months? Or 18-24? I'm leaning towards the latter option, but am worried that he'd spend this season with the arms rolled up and then be grown out of it by next autumn/winter. Anyone with experience of Mini Boden sizes and big babies?

I always go up on sizes for Mini boden. If you order through the mumsnet link then you get 10% off and free returns so what I would do in your case is order both and then return the one that's wrong.

I agree, I find the sizes come up small so go for the bigger one.

Mini Boden comes quite small ime. DS is 90th % for weight and height and I've always found that I can move him up to the next size in Mini Boden a couple of months before he gets there in age (although I think there might be more of a jump in size once they get to 2-3yrs). I would say on that basis that the 18-24 should be perfect for your DS come January.

I have always found it to come up pretty big, ds is eight and can still wear 5-6 in tops, he wears age 7 trousers. It all depends on the size of your child though

Yep, my DD is 91 centile OP and I size up early (what suburban said!) in Boden, especially when you can roll sleeves up.
