My top tips.

  1. If nail polish goes gloppy, put a little nail polish and shake it
  1. When washing your hair, try use cold water it locks in shine.
  1. Wash your brushes out, every 2 weeks and they last a lot longer(Ive had my mac one for 3 year)
  1. Dont change shampoo/cond, unless you have build up.
  1. V05 and head&shoulders are not good for your hair, head and shoulders causes more dandruff and V05 puts a plastic coating on your hair.

Share the tips ladies Grin

Are you the clean your mascara brush lady?

scentednappyhag · 03/09/2012 19:11

I hairspray my face when I'm going to a nightclub and likely to get sweaty hot, as it keeps my make up in place.
Not sure if it's a top tip or just insanity though Grin

I have used hairspray on my face to set eye makeup - you need it clubbing if you use powder shadow Grin

If you have thick frizzy hair like me and want it straight wash you hair the night before, use lots of serum and just blow dry it. In the morning run the straighteners through it - so much easier and less of a battle!!

Toni and guy salt spray is amazing for loose curls - my natural hair - spray it in whilst hair is still v wet I love it!

If anyone wants to tell me how to remove waterproof mascara without hurting myself I'd be delighted!

Ped eggs are amazing!

If you have sensitive skin just use baby wipes to take off make up at night. Read it in posh spice beauty book (don't laugh!) and not looks back since

Rescue oil from cheap chemists and pound shops is excellent and as good as bio oil but less gloopy

If you are spot prone dead sea mufd mask soap is really effective just don't over donut as it will dry your skin.

Soap and glory flaky leg scrub is my very best scrub it's amazing. More spendy I also rate Burt's bees cranberry and something scrub though it's v messy. Cheaper end you can't beat Superdrug vitamin e scrub - I have boosted their sales a lot the amount I recommend it!

If you are prone to getting a rash after shaving bikini line, always use talc or sone anti septic - germolene etc or both if you need to - you can't skip the talc though

If you colour your hair don't wash it too much especially in the few weeks post colour. Use a dry shampoo or whatever but just don't wash it unless u really have to it preserves the colour.

Coconut oil is an excellent hair conditioner. Leave it on overnight (wear a shower cap).

Sugar and any oil is a good skin exfoliant.

Used teabags on eyes for ten mins.
