Going to a party and dress code is 'cocktail dress'.

Am 5ft 7. Size 20. Apple shape. Would prefer upper arms covered.

Party is in 2 weeks. Am back on serious diet track so could conceivably be an 18 by then. I have a few 18s that I can get into. M&S though which size bigger I think.

The navy looks a bit more pricey and I suspect it might be a tad more flattering too, but the black is fine. You have to feel comfortable. Good support pants would fit in the budget with that dress...

Ah, ha! Thought it was just the colour but it's not - it's 'cause the navy is lined to the shoulder and the black to above the bust...
