At 5'7" am I too tall to wear these boots with3.5 in heels?

I saw these on a model in this month's Instyle and have fallen in love :) I never normally wear anything higher than a 2" heel as I feel too self conscious about towering over my friends.

May I have your views on these boots, and also how high is too high for someone my height?

There isn't such a thing as too tall... I'm 5' 9.5" and I wear much higher heels than that Grin

I'm 5ft 8in and I wear boots about that height if not higher, especially for work, where I can look down on my male boss's head Grin

Of course not. DH had a friend at uni who was 6'3 and wore 3" heels and looked fantastic

No! I'm 5' 10" and wore 3" heels to a wedding last night! No such thing as too tall to wear heels!

Nabokov, my closest friends are 5' 2" and under, and I do tower over them even with flats!

Gorgeous boots! I love being tall and love heels.
So, to echo the other posters, wear the boots!! Shoulders back, head held high, GO!

I'm 5'10" and I LOVE wearing heels - tall women look amazing... My MIL is 6' in her sixties and the most stunning woman I know - I'm on a crusade to get her into heels (like you she's self conscious), she doesn't see the way people look at her (in admiration) when we're out...

I'm 5'7" and I always wear the highest heels possible because I calculate my height/weight ratio with my shoes on.

I'm 6 foot and wear heels all the time. 3 inch is standard for me, that makes me waaaay taller than you in your heels.

p.s are your freinds, liliputions, gnomes, leprecauns, or some freekishly tiny ladies if you tower over them at 5'7"

I'm 5'9" and wouldn't think twice about heels that height; they're middle of the road!
