When are you too old or too overweight to wear a thong?

Ive come to a massive underwear realisation recently. Is 40 and a size 16/18 to old and overweight? Even if it's the only type of underwear that feels comfortable?

No. As long as it fits and is comfy I can't see why you couldn't wear one at ninety.

Does it not look a bit distasteful at this age/weight? Has anyone found thongs that have quite a high front so they stop the dreadful stomach hanging over look?

I think if something is comfortable and you're happy with it, you should wear it. Whatever your age and size

God you're fine. I was shopping with my mother a couple of years ago and she bought thongs - I really didn't need to see that.

Primark all lace ones are very good but I always size up in knickers anyway

Personally I've ditched the thong after years and years in favour of brazilians. They are super comfy and hide my pot belly :)

Slightly more coverage than thongs, really comfy don't ride up your bum and if you find a good pair it makes your bum look great (I have a rubbish bum) and your tummy look less round!

Thongs are just WRONG. Surely anyone can see that jamming fabric against your anus is unhealthy and uncomfortable? I wear huge belly-warmers and I'm proud of it.

I'm 27 and feel too old for thongs, little shorts much better and DP likes them too. I do wear the occasional thong now but used to wear nothing but them in my teens/ early 20s!
