Nursing bras....

....I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, so apologies if it's not!

Which are the best nursing bras in your opinion? I have a very enthusiastic DD who is very keen on boobs so quick and easy access is important!

I am currently using some from John Lewis which I thought were better than the previous mothercare ones I had as they don't expose the whole upper half of your boob but just a smaller circle around the nipple ie more discreet!

anita underwired nusing bra. well worth the money

John Lewis definitely has the best at a competitive price IMO. I had bought some from M&S and they were appalling. The midwife recommended John Lewis and even a friend who had bought a more expensive brand (I bought the basic John Lewis two pack) preferred mine and said she had found it difficult to find some that didn't allow the whole boob to spill out. They were also very supportive and easy to use.

Thank you Smile I have some mothercare ones and they do mean that your whole boob is out! Time for some Internet shopping.

I liked the John Lewis ones too, much better fitting than the m&s ones and they are more discreet than the others I bought.
I also love the glamourmom nursing vests, they were a godsend for me and I ended up wearing those more often than the nursing bras.

Second the Anita underwired bras. I was little bit sad to give them up when I stopped BFing.

My favourites were bravissimo's, pretty and comfortable - fab combo! I breastfed three babies for over a year each so tried out a lot of different ones!

Anita underwired again were great as were a brand called Bravado, their crop top type ones were so so comfy and supportive.

ZiaMaria · 10/09/2012 21:08

Panache. Easy to unclip and pretty too.

ThisOnce · 10/09/2012 21:24

I've got Panache ones from Bravissimo, really pretty. For sleeping I prefer the Bravado ones, they sell them in John Lewis.

YoullLaughAboutItOneDay · 10/09/2012 21:44

Yes, yes. Anita underwired ones! Pricey but worth it.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 10/09/2012 21:49

Another vote for Anita underwired, which oddly are more attractive looking than their (incredibly comfortable but fugly) normal bras.
