Can you help me find jackets that are like suit jackets, but are not... ISWIM :-s

The style like thislooks really good on me, it gives me a great shape and slims me down (i am trying to lose weight). However, for the work I am doing next year, a suit is far too smart. I am looking for something that is like a suit jacket - very smart, but less formal. I hope that makes sense! Can you help me find anything? I think it is going to be the material it is made of that makes the difference.

My requirements would be:

£ or ££, but not £££ as I am losing weight.
Natural fabrics
Not boxy shaped
I would prefer full length sleevesas where I work can get cold in the winter!

Thank you to anyone who can help!

I work in a casual office environment but need a jacket sometimes. I buy boiled wool jackets for work - East/M&S usually do nice ones and the black ones are not only smart but comfortable. Wall do a jersey blazer too as well as a boiled wool one here Must admit most of mine were from ebay - I have 5 now!

That's the sort of thing! The long one is nice, but would be too long on me, I think (I'm 5'3''). I'm an autumn colouring (soft), so wonder if there is anything in a nice deep red shape as well. Thank you!

Zara have good jersey blazers in a few colours. You can roll down the sleeves, they are full length.

The Topshop ponte blazer is a great shape too, I have a couple of them, very comfortable but look smarter than a cardigan.

Do you think the boiled wool would be too formal? I'm reallt taken by the Hobbs ones, but am having doubts now they arein my basket. I like the Zara one Smile

I have the regular boyfriend one, but they are on the generous side. I'm usually a 10 but the 8 fits perfectly.
