Bought Topshop Leigh skinnies in pale khaki and in burgundy this morning. Rather disappointed they seemed to have stopped with Jamies, which I preferred, thicker and higher rise. Also bought pleated plum maxi skirt, bit of a style departure for me.

Really feels like autumn here today but I'm liking the crispness.

It's here shopafrolic. Doesn't look much online but a nice dark plum, slim fitting and satisfyingly swishy. Am thinking with slim knitwear, grey or navy. Not sure what else yet! Ankle boots.

I am enjoying your links whilst not buying as so many other things lining up first. Spent a small fortune in the running shop today though. New trainers (very understated grey with purple trim.) New sports bra and running tights, and two new tops. Plus bought DH a couple of things in the sale. All added up I can tell you. Technical running gear is NOT cheap.

Gorgeous day here. Made even better by the fact that the cleaners have been (two, which is the best as fast). And all children are elsewhere. Have been looking forward to getting these days back. Absolute bliss!

Will start thinking about outfit for event. Important to get the right balance. Don't want to be too overly dressed, plus the floor is hard so actual high heels make lots of noise. Plus might be in the day.

Marsha I think I'm wearing exactly what you're looking for! 7FAM slouchy 7/8 chinos in navy needle cord - with decent pockets! They are so comfy and are seriously flattering, I'm wearing them with my Pistols, a denim shirt and a magenta singlet. I got them in the sales, they are probabley still around, I couldN't find a link to them sorry.
