Should I use Perfect 10?

I hve only recently gone brunette after 10 years of getting blonde highlights. Hairdresser did a great job but she only put a semi in so the blonde is starting to come through already. I can't afford to keep going to the hairdressers especially at £40 a pop so have bought a Perfect 10 dye kit, but I've noticed it says permanent.

I'm happy staying brunette for the foreseeable future so would this be ok to use?

It's alright. I use it every four weeks and it's not a problem. It's more liquid than other dyes, though, so take precautions against drips.

Thanks for replying and the drip warning :)

I'm not so afraid of permanent colourants now I tried the dye stripper stuff. Can now get back to lighter colours without bleach and associated crispiness.

I bought brown semi permanent yesterday but I know I am going to miss my red as soon as I do it...

I used it recently, it was fantastic! 10 minutes, I was amazed! No more 2 hrs at the hairdressers for me! Grin

I used perfect 10 for 2 years or so. It's quick and easy, but my hair got quite brittle after a while.

I recently switched to nice'n easy semi permanent, which I prefer now. Lasts around 5 weeks for me and fades naturally rather than growing out.

Just stick VERY carefully to the timing and don't go too dark - I'm speaking from experience. A bad one involving an outcome with the words 'broomstick' and 'cauldron' coming to mind Grin

laurz oh dear!

Well have just done it and it looks great, nagoo that's interesting about the dye stripper must remember that if I ever fancy going lighter again, though the thought of spending all that money on blonde highlights is sickening when I can have a nice colour for a fiver :)
