what colour are your nails today?

I have been inspired, by the autumn colours polish thread, to paint both toenails and fingernails in leighton Denny's supermodel (freebie with a magazine) and I keep looking at them in satisfaction. I dont really do make up, but, I do like my nailpolish.

when the weather cools down I shall be sampling my teal.

Blue, I can't remember the actual colour it's something to do with bmx but I refer to it as wedgewood

Fingers are barry m emerald green, toes are barry m cappucino. I really want to try the magnetic ones but I'd probably muck it up.

Magnetic ones are so easy & effective! I have the Barry M one in black. I'm rubbish at applying nail polish but even I managed to have fab nails! A bargain for £4.99

Were coral fingers and deep red toes until Friday, I've been told matching isn't on trend, but I'm back to matching now as I'm 43 and not very on trend anyway

My toes are in Barry M's gold foil and my nails are in a 'greige' (sorry pear shaped!) colour with the gold foil over as a 'cling film manicure' (my first!). Both DH and DS1 hate it, I've just been informed!! DS2 says I look like a beautiful princess, but he's always been somewhat blind to my faults haha

I think I'm going to do it again at Christmas with red as the background colour - I never wear red, can anyone recommend one?

I'm on a shopping ban at the moment but yesterday was allowed 3 bottles of polish :) I love those little max factor ones, although I'm not sure they're that good value really? I got a gorgeous tan called 'toffee' and a fan tan sparkly colour.

School tomorrow so I'll have to change m nails tonight....

Feel inspired to shop for autumnal colours today.

Toes and fingers are both opi flamenco pink but I will be redoing them later in opi shorts story.

Do you find the magnetic ones work? i have 2 lots (different brands) but i dont find they really work. lovely colours though but just cant get a magnetic pattern-and i have even tried it with a fridge magnet.

Dd has the most fab selection of nail varnishes, mostly given to her by her very stylish aunt who gets great expensive freebies from her work....soooo I tend to pinch them from her as mine are rather boring. I have just put on a really unusual pale green on my toes, the palest colour I've worn this summer (mostly I've been wearing very striking blue, green or purple)
I don't wear varnish on my finger nails as I have very small nails, not bitten just tiny nails.

What's the pale green parisbanana? I've been looking for a nice pale green for ages.

No.7. cheap but ace, I used the flag magnet from the Barry M blue one.

This is it, though in real life it is quite a bit paler than this.

You HAVE to try SHELLAC nails!

Had them done 4 weeks ago and getting them done again tomorrow and they have NOT CHIPPED at all!

I bloody love them.

I have washed up and swum in the sea and baked and they are brilliant!

My toe nails are currently green (DS dared me!) and my hands are a lovely bright pink with a shimmer sheen over the top. Shellac rocks!

Dark purple with disco balls over the top - now slightly chipped after a weekend of partying, so will be getting the nail polish remover out tomorrow.
