Chanel makeup - quality issues

First, one of the pans in my Chanel eye quad fell out after a few months of gentle use (Eclosion palette).
Today, my Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick had become loose and mashed in the tube while being carried in my purse. I've had it for just over a month. It's ruined, and no, I don't want to use a brush to apply it.

I love the subtle color ranges of Chanel but won't stand substandard cosmetics at premium prices. Goodbye Chanel and hello Nars, Armani and Edward Bess...

Has anyone else had similar problems?

I saved up for ages for a Chanel lipstick when I was a teenager and was heartbroken when it fell apart in a couple of weeks. I was recently going to treat myself to a Chanel nail polish before a friend told me it was shite...I'll be steering clear and sticking to BB & MAC etc.

Chanel nail polish is rubbish. Impossible to get a non streaky finish.

Agree Prima. I can get it on fine and it looks lovely but peels off within 24 hours. It's not my nails that are the problem as it only happens with Chanel nail polish. Crap crap crap.
