I like florals, so I might not be your best answeree, BeDelicious is apple-ey, isn't it?
Nevertheless, you've only had one reply, so i guess I'll at least be bumping you ...
Right, I am spear-heading a one-woman campaign to turn the tide against perfumes that stick to their wearer like glue all day. these kind of perfumes have their place, but, sod it, it cannot, in and of itself, be regarded as the ultimate accolade and virtue of a perfume that it lasts all day.
a. it;s boring, surely?
b. it's almost certainly going to be so darned strong that it's the equivalent of territorial marking and is actually a bit upsetting for at least some of those sharing your space.
So, what about looking for a "day" perfume, that you can top up throughout the day, but isn't so strong that a. it requires no re-application b. announces your presence (ie. is intimate and yours)?
I'd suggest some of Marks and Spencer's cologne-type perfumes (the Maison de Scenteurs ones) and the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria perfumes.
And then you can have something with real oomph for when you go out of a night, Carnal Flower, for example.
On the other hand, I tried Space NK's new perfume the other day (I think it has "Truth" in the title) and it was rather nice: Irisy and musky without being too sweet (or too "sad", which Iris can sometimes be).
