Yes, planning ahead a little (probably the only area of my life where I am organised!)... Grin

I was thinking of getting OPI's Samoan Sand but am not sure whether to go with some bolder colours? I guess nudes are a fairly safe bet and always useful but would welcome some other suggestions for on-trend colours that won't break the bank!

Ill be wearing navy and teal. No7 have a fab teal varnish with lovely colour density.

scentednappyhag · 01/09/2012 10:56

I'll be wearing red. I'm always wearing red. I'm very predictable Grin
But Jessica have some gorgeous colours this autumn, Cinnamon Kiss and Brown Sugar are lovely.

Thanks for suggestions! Ooh I like Jessica so I'll check those out. And really could do with a navy man in my collection.

I'm wearing mushroom/taupe shades, but will be going to investigate the no 7 teal!!

DaPrincessBride · 01/09/2012 11:25

Currently wearing Nails Inc in a deep plum shade and coveting some navy...

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 11:27

Nail varnish is my favourite. I have a lush mushroomy colour that was a magazine freebie. Its leighton denny, supermodel.

No7 also do a greeny gold called dollar, that's v nice for a night out.

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 11:28

My navy is a revlon from poundland called midnight affair.

ujjayi · 01/09/2012 12:06

I have a Boots 17 Navy which is fabulous - very dark but with a gorgeous shine. Cheap but lasts well with a topcoat.

Also a fan of red but am thinking I may continue with some hot pink and L'Oreal's Lush Tangerine through the autumn as a way of pretending we had a summer are still in the summer months.

Nagoo · 01/09/2012 12:08

I picked up a mustard colour Nails Inc in TK Maxx yesterday. It's beautiful.

Nagoo · 01/09/2012 12:10

The No 7 Betty Blue is navy with sparkly bits in it.

Barry M also do a black with rainbow sparkle which is a rip off of My Private Jet by OPI.

We so should have done this thread in the section with pictures.

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 12:20

Oooh, I love the sound of tangerine. I alkways stick to hot pink/fuscia or brights for the summer, pastels for spring but I love autumn colours.

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 12:24

Poundland is great for nailpolish, so is the cheapsmells website!

janji · 01/09/2012 12:34

Just bought and am now wearing Rimmel lasting finish 'block your green' and am v impressed. Lovely real colour and a bargain at £2.98!

MoreCrackThanHarlem · 01/09/2012 12:37

Barry M in Cappucino
Boots 17 Supreme Shine in Wave

janji · 01/09/2012 12:50

Barry m also doing three lovely magnetic nail polishes for a reasonable £4.99 each. Chanel peridot (greenly gold) is another face autumn colour.

QueenCadbury · 01/09/2012 14:09

Teal, purple, griege, grey and dark red/burgundy. I love winter nail colours!

polyhymnia · 01/09/2012 14:55

Chanel's Frenzy, or similar taupey shade like Essie's Jazz, and Essie Chinchilla (grey) for everyday, and will probably try a teal if I find one i like.

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 15:26

Accordinmg to my mags that came today, khaki is a big colour for a/w12

SweetFannyCraddock · 01/09/2012 19:04

Glamour magazine has a great piece about nailpolishes with some ace colour ideas.

I don't really "do" make up, but I love nail polish there's a fab new barry m called magnetic, I'm getting that!
