Limited edition handbag - should I buy it?!

Hello all on a very rainy Thursday afternoon.

With the help of some birthday money I am going to treat myself to a new handbag, something that I don?t do all that often. I was looking on the Internet for something a bit different when I stumbled across this: www.miloandsaint.com/Handbags/limited-bespoke-designer-handbag

Has anybody ever had any experience of Milo and Saint? The description sounds lovely and I like the fact that it is a limited edition handbag with only 100 made and it is designed in Britain. The bird lining also looks charming.

Any feedback or opinions are eagerly welcomed!

Hannah

Thank you Katie. I am not sure I feel too welcome at the moment Shock

Well, it's an interesting first post and you seem rather intent on pushing how lovely this bag is from this unknown company. It happens a lot. You just get wary.

unknown company, lot of money, wow what makes it so great then thats its limited edition??
Don't get it

HannahOfSurrey · 30/08/2012 23:08

Reading my posts again and I can see why you might think that. Does it really happen? Surely comapnies would be going after glossy magazines and newspapers? It shows what I know!

Anyway thank you for the supportive comment.

kilmur I quite like the idea that only 100 are made. Surely that is better than buying something that has rolled out of a factory in millions off a productin line?

No, just me then :)

I want to know more about the LTS thread, can someone link pls

AndiMac · 30/08/2012 23:46

I don't understand why there aren't any pictures of the inside of the bag, or have I missed it? Seems odd that you only get one look at the front, not even the back of the bag.

I'll throw in a link to a woman I know who designs and makes the bags herself. She used to, but I don't know if she still has, a stall at Spitalfields Market.

Hannah, I've just had a look at your link. The handbags look far too expensive IMO. The leather looks shiny and cheap to me.

The one you are thinking of isn't my cup of tea personally, but hey, we all like different things. If you are satchel person have you seen these? Much cheaper, and nicer IMO - and made in England, which is what you wanted.

100's or 1000's, being made, who cares? no one will know you have paid over the odds, particularly if its not a well known brand
