Chelsea boots - opinions please

What do you think of these?

I want some new autumn boots but hate heels and am sick of the buckle-covered biker style.

Also, why does everyone say you shouldn't wear black boots with blue jeans? What about if the jeans are very dark indigo?

I like those. I happen to love black boots with denim and have only recently got some brown ones as I thought they would go better with my coloured jeans. I'm not sure who made that rule up but they are, IMHO, wrong!

Good! I always wear black boots as brown anything looks rubbish on me. It must be one of the many silly rules our mums told us...

I love Chelsea boots.

Being of latge slim foot, they are the only nice ankle boots I can find to fit.
