Help me choose boots

Mainly to wear with skinny trousers ( black and grey casual).
I already have some chunky boots and some knee boots but wanted something not quite so " biker-ish".

Anyone got any strong feelings about these two?

Would you go for tan or black- my handbags are brown.

I am liking the John Lewis ones, possibly because they will be quicker to get on/ off, could be worn with dresses as shorter and definetly the tan.
Office ( looking yesterday for boots too) had these which are similar ..

Love them both but marginally prefer the JL ones but think it may just be better photography. Order them both and then choose?

I like the JL ones too. Have you bought Duo before? I wasn't enamoured by the quality of the one pair I bought from there

Have bought DUO before- have 3 pairs- one evening type pair- kitten heels and 2 pairs of flat riding boot styles- nice but would prefer a chunkier sole on them.

I like both, although maybe the Duo ones are a little too high? Like the model shot though.

Hudson have a pair of brogue boots - Sherwin I think.

Have ordered both!

Have actually seen and tried the JL ones- think the sole might be thicker than DUO. They are okay though slightly too long and size down too short- so will need to try with thick socks.
