80's outfits needed, please help.

For me and DH for a party. I don't do fancy dress and am very tall so find clothes shopping hard work at the best of times. Can you recommend something fairly trendy, 80's inspired?
I'm quite liking the idea of a shell suit for DH, but he was hoping to stop off at another drinks meet on the way there so may refuse to wear it!

I went on ebay and for a few pounds got neon tutu which I wore with black trousers underneath, neon leg warmers, neon gloves, glow in the dark sticks as a necklace. Think some pound shops have that sort of stuff in too
