Does anywhere sell similar/matching nightwear for an 11yr old (boy) and a baby?

My DD is expecting no 1 soon and has a step son age 11 who lives with them every other weekend. The baby will be his first sibling. I want to get a present for them both that will help them 'belong together' and I thought of matching pyjamas - anyone know anywhere that may sell them?

Have a look at White Company - some of the baby sleepwear matches some of the boy's sleepwear. I think the sizes go large enough.

So you could gingham PJs and matching gingham sleepsuit, or maybe stripes or cowboys.

I get matching sets at GAP normally, not sure what age they'd go up to though (mine are 5 and 2)

I think gap only go up to a 5 for baby gap. Boden definitely do but they cost a bomb.

Mothercare go up to age 8 but they are big. My dd is wearing 7-8 PJs from there and she is almost 9.

I think it's a lovely idea.

Ignore that mothercare, I had 9 in my head for some reason!

John Lewis do them.

Thanks so much - those look good. Worth spending money on such a special occasion!

One of the catalogues- I want one of those, or not on the high street, something like that, had t shirts/ babygrows with big star/little star, and pint/ half pint- you could probably get your own version printed too!

have a look at PJ Pan www.pjpan.co.uk - they definitely do children's pyjamas but i'm not sure they go as young as newborns.

Thank you - wonderful suggestions - now I almost have too much choice Smile

You sound like a lovely caring lady, however I am not sure that an eleven year old boy would appriciate wearing the same as a baby. Just going by my two DSs when they were that age.

5madthings · 04/09/2012 18:40

err what jelly said. sorry but my ds1 at eleven would NOT want matching pj's with his baby brother and my ds2 is ten and i just suggested it to him and he looked at me like my head had fallen off!

get a nice present to congratulate him on becoming a big brother andaybe you could take him shopping yo buy something for the baby?

Thanks - yes I am sanguine that may be the case, but at present he is quite young for his age and as these will be 'occasional' not 'everyday' pyjamas it might be OK. But I am going to wait and see how much he grows up over the next few months before buying.
