Leather jacket - opinion /advice please!

Am a leather jacket 'virgin' but have always wanted one. This TED BAKER one is lovely soft leather and a gorgeous (or so I think) brown but at this price I need opinions - so what do you think? Is it worth it? Am 5"3, size 8-10 but broad shoulders and short waisted so belted styles look dreadful on me. And if approve - What to wear with it? Thanks!

I've seen this in the shop and it is beaut. My one concern would be make-up getting on the collar. If it was a fifty pound jobby from topshop it wouldn't matter, but at that money I think my heart would break! Could you wait until HoF do one of their blue cross events? You might be able to get a bit off it then.

I'm the same height and size as you so feel your pain re getting jackets to fit. I have a leather jacket from All Saints which I love, you might want to check them out for other options. Slightly cheaper too!

Thanks TCD. Will have a look at All Saints too. If you have any other top tips for places shops for tops/shirts (I can rarely find shirts that fit well) or jackets, let me know! Am trying to ensure only buy items that fit properly.

I Third All Saints. So luxurious and good quality leather. (However I bought one and it feel to bits, before that it was the stuff my dreams are made of. It may have just been that one that was faulty. It was covered in studs!)

Im not too keen on the one you posted, however everyones taste is different.

It is my dream to own as many leather jackets as i can, Their is a phillip Lim one i have my eye on for a mere £1050.00.
