Tanning mitts!!

Can anyone recommend a decent tanning mitt that doesn't go funny when I wash it? I usually apply tanning mousse with a new tanning mitt, the tan goes on perfectly and when I wash the mitt the plastic backing seems to go all crinkly and it makes the tan go streaky. Sorry if I'm not being very clear I'm not that sure how to describe it!

I've ended up buying a new mitt every week or so, still working out cheaper than the spray tans I used to get but still...!

And it's the Superdrug and Primark ones I usually buy, but would get a more expensive one if it lasted longer.

TIA :)

Why are you washing it? I never do but now I feel like a skank after finding out that someone else does.

It had actually crossed my mind not to wash it, but it said on the back of the pack to wash after use?? Hmmm may try that, surely can't do any harm haha not skank like at all!. I suppose it would't really matter cos it's the same product going onto it?

I've got a tanning mitt from Superdrug and I've had two from Savers (£1!)

Neither have fallen apart, though admittedly I've only used them once or twice. Was so impressed with the Savers one I bought another - it comes with black latex gloves. Though I have to say - it's DP who uses them, not me. He does my spray tan for me :)

I've got a St Tropez one that was £4 from feelunique.com. It says to just wash with warm water but I haven't bothered and it's still good after 6 applications.

Haha, don't think I'll bother with a mitt, I'll train DP up to do spray tans!! Savers one does sound good if I'm going to be using them up quickly, will give that a try. :)
