For my mum for a christmas gift but the time of year is not relevant Wink

She uses radley bags normally
Has to be a pretty big decent size to hold all her crap :o
HAS to be over body
She's currently using a knock off mulberry anthony and loves it but I just cant afford to buy a real one
budget £150 tops

Go work your magic :o (TIA :o)

Ooh a handbag challenge!

any here? The celia one seems to fit your criteria?

red direct has some lovely ones too

notOnTheHighStreet has some good ones too..

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 28/08/2012 19:56

Knew someone would like a challange :o

I like the Celia but not the shoulder handles, it will only ever be used cross body so they're wasted fabric :o

I like the others but not love Blush sorry I'm a mega PITA :o

Thak you :)

this dkny any good?

or maybe this satchel

Hope these are big enough?

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 29/08/2012 21:50

Neither of those are really her, thank you so much though :)

She's 56
Uses Radley oilcloth ones (or leather but less) or the Mullberry Anthony
Quite plain bags etc...more Radley/Tula/plain mullberry then DKNY etc

thank you so much :)

My Mulberry Antony (graphite grey) was a special outlet edition - £195. I know it's over budget but just in case the info is useful...

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 29/08/2012 22:24

Oooh, whereabouts is there an outlet Amber?

dreams of finding an Alexa for £100 Wink

I am having a similar bag dilema and started a similar thread on MN today too.

I have narrowed my choice down to one of these British Handbags by Milo and Saint

or an Aspinal Satchel that was recommended by a fellow MN user.

I hope this helps!

bubalou · 29/08/2012 23:33

I like Mischa barton. We have a lovely boutique in our town that sells these along with Radley. There's also Nica & Fiorelli?

If u do find a bag u like but its under budget - buy the matching purse!

Good luck. Wink

bunionscomingsoon · 30/08/2012 11:13

Those bags are 2 very different choices Hannah - and way over the £150 budget IHope is looking for -- or maybe those are just your choices . - - Wink

HannahOfSurrey · 30/08/2012 20:55

IHope sorry if they are out of your price range but I hope they will at least offer some inspiration.

bunions My suggestions were both satchels as I was following on from the conversation about Alexas. And yes I am fond of them both otherwise why would I recommend them!

bunionscomingsoon · 30/08/2012 21:23

I don't know -- but thought IHope was looking for something under £150 and they are both way over that limit- - so don't see how they would be suitable - - - but if you like them both that's fine !

AmberNectarine · 31/08/2012 09:27

I got mine at the Shepton Mallet one, but they have outlets at Bicester, York and Cheshire Oak too.

wanttomakeadifference · 31/08/2012 11:49

amber do nay of the outlets have a website that you know of? I've tried googling but have had no luck.
