Do you wear different colour nail polish on your fingers and toes?

According to Aug Vogue you should do perfectly bare toenails and color on the fingernails. Who cares, basically anything goes...

Otherwise it's just whatever....currently no nail polish, and rainbow toes (red big toe, yellow next, then green, then blue and finally purple) with white crackle glaze over the top

yes, I make sure they never match. Sometimes just similar (pink / orange) other times I like turquoise, navy on my fingers.

I don't seem to suit techno toes so I stick to bold oranges or pinks on my feet and play around with my fingers instead.

Perfectly bare toenails?? Mine are far too hideous and polish stained to go bare.. I'm obsessive about matching fingers and toes, though I can cope with bare/clear polish fingers if my toes are painted. Just wondered if anyone else is the same.

I used to be OCD about them matching but, probably 12 months ago, I just decided they could be different Mainly it was because I only need to do my toenails every other week whereas my fingernails need doing every 5-7 days so I was taking off perfectly good nail varnish off my toes.

It felt really weird at first but now it is liberating At the moment, my toenails are just glitter (with a slight pink-tinge) so fairly neutral anyway.

Always different, currently pink/purple on fingers and glittery blue on toes.

Really don't like the same on both - too boring and matchy. But like colours to at least go well together or make a pleasing contrast.

Only do toes every 6 weeks or so, they last so well. But at 39w pg I can't feckin reach them.

I do my fingernails once a week, & my toenails about every 3 months.

Occasionally they coincide, usually when both are plain shiny black.

Atm fingers are purpley-pink + black crackle & toes are silver + black crackle.

Always painted but always different. Fingers are always clear polish or nude colour. Toes are normally coral or whatever i fancy at the rime, but are blue at the moment

Hmm, that's true, it is annoying having to remove perfect unchipped toenail polish when I have to change my fingernail colour.

I am the epitome of boring - fingers and toes are both French manicured but not in a trashy way I promise!

Pale elegant fingertips, bright/dark sexy toenails

Clear on fingers because it lasts a bit longer and dark red on toes. The opposite of Vogue which is the story of my life!

Purple sparkly toes - I can just about get away with a French manicure for work so that is what my nails always are. I don't like having bare nails.

Rarely match

I always have Shellac on my toenails and get it changed every month or so. At the moment they are a coral colour with a gold sparkle top coat.
Rarely get my fingers done because I always smudge normal nail varnish and it's too expensive to keep getting Shellac done. I am getting them done on Monday though and have chosen a neutral sort of beige colour.
Can't get away with anything too wild on fingers for work so keep them neutral and go for jazzy toes instead.

Toes stay painted the same colour all summer, finger nails almost never are.

I have short brittle finger mails, they bend and polish just flakes off.

Usually colour on toes (gold today) and clear on fingers.

Only polish my toes. Bright pinks. Finger nails bare or French manicure for special occasion . Don't like polish on my finger nails .

Agree with most other posters - bright polish on toenails where it lasts ages and nude on fingernails cos it doesn't and I'm a lazy cow
