Must have beauty tips anyone?!

I am new to the S & B board but I have felt the need to branch over here to boot myself up the bum basically!

I used to have a decent beauty routine but since being pregnant and having DS I have barely looked at 1 hair or body product.

So I am trying to reignite my passion for looking after myself.

What products would you recommend?
Any beauty basics/must haves that you swear by?

Use a facial wash in the morning & mosturiser with an SPF 15. Use an eye gel or eye cream morning & night & a night cream. Remove makeup every night with make up wipes it a separate eye make up remover, for skin a cleanser & toner.

Once a week try & do a deep cleansing mask if skin is oily/ combination or if dry a hydrating mask. Also use an exfoliating scrub once a week.

You don't need an expensive range, anything like Olay or Boots own range is fine.

Apply lip balm to stop lips getting dry.

Mineral powder makeup or a tinted moisturiser is good for a quick cover in the mornings or use one of the new BB creams.

Thank you.

What is a good tinted moisturiser?

Lancôme do a nice one but I'm sure that you could try a cheaper one. I'm in Australia now so I'm not sure what Boots/Superdrug has but there have been a few good recommendations on here for tinted moisturisers.

I wouldn't advocate wipes for removing make-up - as the wonderful Mrs Hirons (beauty blogger) once tweeted, Wipes are for flights, fannies and festivals!

My top tip is to get the cleansing absolutely spot on, morning and night.
I use Emma Hardie balm to remove makeup followed by a gentle facial wash. In the morning, just the facial wash.
