Can just lipstick really look ok?

I am totally unstylish. But I think I need to start making an effort for work so have started trying to buy better clothes etc. I HATE shopping!

My problem is that I don't really like wearing make up and atm with an 11 month old non-sleeping baby I am way too tired in the morning to be fussing about with that.

So I was wondering if just wearing lipstick would make a difference? Or would it just look odd on an unmade-up face?

Is there anything else I could do easily to make myself look more stylish and "finished"?

I think if you're pushed for time I'd go for a quick slap of tinted moisturiser, a small amount of creme blush, concealer if required and a layer of mascara, maybe a tinted lip balm - all that should take no more than 2 minutes.. IMO lipstick without any other make up could look unbalanced.

I think it depends on the colour of the stuff.

If pushed for time I do tinted moisturiser, mascara and lipstick. Looks even and pulled together, and entire outfit looks more intentional with lipstick, iykwim.

Ok guess I need to go for tinted moisuriser and mascara with the lipstick at least then.

I'm so bad at this stuff! Blush
