I recall someone said about this and about it being in boots, where abouts in boots is it I couldn't see anything for eyelashes and what brand is it?, is it in with the make up or face care?

OP posts:
Virgil · 23/08/2012 21:28

Aargh bloody iPad hydraluron not hydraluaron

HappyGirlNow · 23/08/2012 22:56

Grin goodness, how rude and ungrateful is the OP?! Has made me laugh though Wink

JoyceDivision · 23/08/2012 23:02

OP, why don't you remember your manners, thank the posters for their time, and fuck off to Boots and ask a member of staff for their help? Hmm

BagCrazy · 24/08/2012 01:49

God, OP looks so rude here, no manners at all, im sorry.
Im a silent reader of s&b usually but this post compelled me to write.
Anyways, thanks to the posters, i really wanted to know about the rapid lash.

P.s. will go to boots tomo to see where it is displayed Grin

NigellasGuest · 24/08/2012 11:26

word of warning - my branch not only didn't have it, but hadn't heard of it
They did suggest going online and getting it sent to the branch (free of charge) for me to go in to pay and collect.

Oh FFS I forgot to ask them what aisle it would be in when I go to collect - how on earth do I cope now??? Thanks for nothing you unhelpful lot, pah

HappyGirlNow · 24/08/2012 13:09

Grin at NigellasGuest

SunWukong · 24/08/2012 16:12

You think I'm rude? Well I think it's highly rude to imply the question is stupid and take the piss when the question was a perfectly reasonable one, what brand is a reasonable question because items are sorted by brand in stores and where abouts it normally is around the face care or make up, again is a perfectly reasonable question.

My boots is fairly large and a mess, the next nearest one is even bigger full of little island make up counters and the like.

Finally how am I spost to ask a member of staff when I don't know what the product is called?.

I wouldn't be snappy and pissed off if you horrible lot didn't come on here and take the piss, thank you to the people who named it and gave me an idea of where abouts it might be.

OP posts:
Boondoggle · 24/08/2012 16:24

Nothing to add to the location of Peptalash or whatever it's called, but just had to comment on the appalling rudeness of the OP. If that's how she approaches Boots shop staff it's no surprise she's none the wiser.

Good manners cost nothing.

SunWukong · 24/08/2012 16:26

So does not taking the piss out of people.

OP posts:
Boondoggle · 24/08/2012 16:27

Cross posted.

As you can't be polite, why not do your own research into what products you may wish to purchase may be called, instead of acting all Imelda Marcos on here to people who were nice enough to try and help you?

It may also help your child to learn how not to scream like a brat in shops if you behaved properly yourself.

SunWukong · 24/08/2012 16:36

I do behave properly, I say please and thank you, I hold doors open for people, I say excuse me and don't ram my trolly into people in supermarkets nor do I block aisle, my child who "screams like a brat" as you call it also says please and thank you.

I have now said thank you twice to those who gave me a product name, all those who take the piss can get lost.

OP posts:
AgathaFusty · 24/08/2012 16:43

You clearly don't say please and thank you. You didn't thank the first poster to help you out. Can't see you saying please anywhere either.

Boondoggle · 24/08/2012 16:44

You've elicited comments from at least 2 people who were solely motivated to post by your incredible rudeness on this thread. You have continued to be rude in every post. No wonder your son can't control his temper. Jesus.

I refer you to the reply given in Arkell v Pressdram

Boondoggle · 24/08/2012 16:46

"my son tends to scream and pull things off shelves"

Yup, he sounds like he has lovely manners too. You reap as you sow.

noddyholder · 24/08/2012 16:46

Super rude but thanks virgil I am going to try peptalash as revitalash a bit expensive

StarryEyedMama · 24/08/2012 16:49

I got mine from Amazon for £25 - that might save you from wandering the aisles of Boots!

civilfawlty · 24/08/2012 16:51

Never in all my days have I read anything like this. OP you are SHOCKING.

Also - is anyone finding peptalash is working? I can't see any improvement after 4 weeks? Are my lashes beyond help? Am I using too little? Sad

noddyholder · 24/08/2012 16:53

Well i can vouch for revitalash my lashes grew too much! Need to start using again but thought would try cheaper one! Agree OP is shocking

Virgil · 24/08/2012 17:03

Civil I can't help you there since I only started using it yesterday. I did struggle to tell how much I'd put on though (as I also did with revitalash) so maybe try using a bit more.

AgathaFusty · 24/08/2012 17:30

I think I might need some of this magical stuff.

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 24/08/2012 17:33

I've been using peptalash for about two weeks and can see an improvement

Virgil · 24/08/2012 17:35

According to Caroline hIron skin guru, the hydraluron is a wonder product. So it would seem worth getting the peptalash free with the wonder product given that it's £24.99 for both of them rather than just £24.99 for the peptalash.

To early to tell for me with the peptalash but the hydraluron definitely instantly hydrates the skin. I managed to get it on my hands and every time I washed my hands today I could feel the hydraluron sucking the water into my skin. My colleagues at work said that my skin looked all plumped up and glowy.

Charliefox · 24/08/2012 18:15

Flippin brilliant post. Made me LOL, especially you JoyceDivision! Rapid lash works a treat, can highly recommend to all the lovely peeps on here but not to the stroppy knickers OP. May she be damned by stumpy old short lashes :-)

NigellasGuest · 24/08/2012 18:20

Virgil I love Caroline Hirons.
Do you reckon the hydralauron is better than P50, if you know about that? (Mrs Hirons recommends that as well).

In fact it's because of her review that I have become interested in the hydralauron - she really does rave about it and she does not have a vested interest IYSWIM.

Perhaps she could advise as to where it is located instore? Do you think she might provide ordnance survey map coordinates for exact location? OP you could try posting on her blog. HTH

valiumredhead · 24/08/2012 18:22

OMG what an attitude! Shock Can you imagine if this had been posted in AIBU Wink
