I went to Greece last year for a week. I took 2 bikinis and 2 kaftan/beach dress things for lunch. I took 4 summer dresses for the evening. 2 pairs of flip flops and a pair of sandals. No cardis were needed!

Wow Waswondering that link is great, Esp as I gave up rolling clothes years ago.

love the link, i taught dd 13 this when she when by herself with uncle's family to portugal and needed hand luggage only for ryanair. she was amazed at how much she could take! But I think Ms Poole takes too many clothes - 2 x bikini
1 swimssuit
1 skirt
3 vests
2 shorts
2 tops
1 cardy
2 dresses
1 sandals
1 trainers
1 longish trousers
1 flopflops
sun stuff
wssh stuff
wear the trainers, cardy and trousers. Carry your book

I was wondering the same, I did fly to Maui once with only carry on hand luggage, but now have way to many clothes, I think your list Over' is more realistic.

Thanks feel happier now x

no trainers, unless you are a die hard exercise fanatic.

overthemill · 24/08/2012 06:45

oh but trainers are for 'proper walks to places that flipflops just won't do not for exercising!
