I have found the perfect dress for SIL's wedding but it's £400 - please help me find something similar and cheaper

Dress I love it but can only stretch to about £200 at the very most and so unless there is a sale soon I need to find something similar. I love this dress!

Seriously, I am sure there are quite a few bird prints around. There was a nice bird print dress in Laura Ashley not long ago.

Also, if you are in Stoke N - try looking in the boutiques on Upper St, or the vintage shop in Stoke N.

I know, it's way overpriced but I love it. Looked at Upper Street and scouring Etsy. I love the shape as well and colour, with or without pheasants. Although I do love the birds!

I think all those bird prints already look very dated. You certainly wouldn't get another season's wear out of it.

Still no alternatives though... Anyway, won't pay £400 for it. So still scouring.

I do like the Whistles one. I like this also but could be a bit dullsville Another Dress although have some very good shoes and accessories. I am a real sucker for mid length, long sleeved navy dresses.

Jack Wills' sister brand is Aubin and Wills, you might like some of their stuff- it's aimed at a slightly older audience and is quite nice. I love this dress, although you may not like the colour for a wedding.

If it's the pattern and vintage style you like, do a google image search for 'Warehouse Bird Print Silk Dress'. I got it for £20 in the Debenhams sale, it's an extremely flattering fit, it nips in at the waist and has a 1940s chic feel. You might find it on eBay or in the department stores that stock Warehouse.
