Wellies

Help! I have just looked at the weather forecast and realised that in orer to survive Reading Festival this weekend I will quite possibly need wellies. The ones I had last year made my feet hurt worse than heels after a few hours. Can anyone recommend comfortable but not expensive wellies? Also have chunky calves so short ones are better!

I bought these from M&S. Good price, though sent them back and bought these instead!!

Obv preferred the second pair, but actually no issues with the M&S for quality or fit and I have gigantic calves.

Hope the links work. Really envy you going. Don't miss brilliant Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men. I saw them in Manchester in July!!

The trick to good wellie-wearing is a chunky pair of socks with a thin pair underneath.

I'm off to Reading too. I am too scared to look at the weather. See you there.

the weather forecast for Reading is changing everyday! It was going to rain WTFSSM but my link now says only SS are going to rain... Don't panic, I've ordered good weather as my DD's going
oh and Primark had some nice ones last time I was in

Thanks ladies and inkyfingers thanks for the band tip, I will check them out! Magicmayhem I am hoping it keeps changing until it says 25 degrees, dry and sunny but I won't hold my breath!
