Scarf help!

I'm dipping my toes into scarf wearing, having shunned them for the last two decades.
Last autumn I bought the Ebay MN scarf. I loved it and wore it every day. And the truth is I want to wear it this a/w too but I know MNers UK wide will laugh and point their 'so last year' fingers if I do. But I probably still will

Anyway to the point. I've bought this www.johnlewis.com/231697693/Product.aspx from Hobbs and I love it but I realised I don't know how to wear it. It's more like a traditional scarf and I haven't worn one of those since the 1980's .
I don't know how to tie it or what to wear it with...
